Putting Patients First
Having control over your bladder is an undeniably essential aspect of a woman’s wellbeing. We understand that women often feel embarrassed about their symptoms and may take a long time to see their doctor. We also know that women sometimes perceive these symptoms to be an unavoidable consequence of aging or having children.
Fortunately, we offer a variety of treatments which can lead to remarkable improvement or even a full resolution of symptoms. Treatments can range from simple lifestyle and dietary changes to medical or surgical treatments.
We conduct a detailed assessment of your health and symptoms, with the ultimate goal of providing you personalised care using the least invasive treatment options. We do not offer any treatments involving the placement of mesh.
Our surgical treatments include Bulkamid periurethral injections for Urinary Stress Incontinence (urinary leakage during exercise, coughing orsneezing) and Botox injections to the bladder to treat symptoms of bladder overactivity (feelings of urinary urgency and frequency). Both procedures are offered as outpatient treatments and can be done under local anaesthesia requiring minimal recovery time.
We also offer Posterior Tibial Nerve Stimulation for overactive bladder symptoms. This low-risk treatment involves fine, acupuncture type needles to be placed just next to the ankle. The procedure is virtually pain-free and is suitable for patients of all ages and medical fitness levels.
